I was denied for a BofA platinum card.... I PFB'd them last week and was wondering if it's possible to get approval from that? Will they really reconsider? The reason I was denied was: too many finance accounts-Can't figure that one out as I have 2 car loans and a mortgage loan and that's it on installment loans Negatives on my reports-They pulled EQ and I just got my report like a day after I applied and it showed not ONE negative/late pay?!! I've never been late before on anything. Can't figure that one out? No of inquiries-I have 2 on my report-is that TOO many?! What gives? Anybody been denied and then approved by PFBing them?
Was declined a while back, probably about 5 months ago or something like that. PFB'ed them for reconsideration. They replied within about two weeks I think. They didnt reverse their decision, but the lady was very nice about the whole thing and explained exactly why. She later sent me a new adverse action notice with much more detail than the standard version.
