Re: Re: Re: Re: BofA Mini Card I know if I had one it would be nice. I do not carry a purse, only a big fat wallet. It would be nice to not have to carry it too. Plus, things like today would not happen, I lost one of my cards, it is a card I do not use, only hubby when he is traveling, since I lost my card, called cc and had to close acct. Now hubby is mad at me cause he found the card 5 mins later and he has no card to use while on the road this week. Well, he has his cards with next to none limits. Oh well. I rarely misplace my keys. I need a BOA card, but know I will be turned down for inqs. Maybe next year.
"As for charging non-account holders $5 to cash a check, it costs A LOT OF MONEY to stockpile cash to cash all those business payroll checks. BofA has got to be the #1 bank for businesses. If you don't want to open an account at BofA, (or anywhere else) it is still YOUR CHOICE to cash your check at BofA and PAY THE $5. NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO GO TO BOFA TO CASH YOUR CHECK! You can still do business somewhere else. (Have your employer get into the 90's and provide direct deposit for their employees!)" While I am quite aware of Bank of America Charges and my options to cash my check either at their bank or deposit in my account. Furthermore, as far as my employer...direct deposit is an options. While Bank Of America might be the "number one" bank in your opinion, others may beg the different. I think many of these banks has too many charges just for you either to obtain your money or inquire about your money. Afterall, it is the consumers that deposit money into the bank Sure, these charges may help the growth of the bank along with better wages for their employees, I am still oppose to all of the fees that are charged for accessing your account along with charging non-account holders "$5" to cash a check drawn on their bank. Then if you don't have an account they want to nag you about joining their bank. Well, maybe I don't want to be a BANK OF AMERICA Customer and I am happy with the bank I a member of. As far as the min key card. While this may be cool for some folks and easy to locate for others, I still think it might not be a great ideal for security reasons. People loses their keys more then their wallet. Having that much information available on your key ring do not sounds like a good thing to do. Regardless, if you have to make just one call to cancel or report it stolen. Futhermore, we live in a time where crime is high, I do not want to give the illusion that I have "money"available with a Bank of America "Visa" Check Card attached to my key chain. Understand all the criminal see is money hanging from your key change, even those you probably have no money in the bank. It is the perception that is given to someone when money is hanging from their "key"chain.
