    ASK...

Maybe you could send another $99 for another $500 or even $1,000

If you were looking for just an increase in your credit line then I would just send more money to BOA. If you want the card to go unsecured with a higher limit I *think* you may be able to go unsecured with BOA after one full year of payment history (no lates etc)

    Good Luck

Well, its been a year with my BOFA secured card. No lates payment, all good payment history. I called today to get my account reviewed and it was denied. I'm so upset. BOFA said, based upon a soft pull of my TU, I did not qualify for graduation requirements. Within the year of my secured, I didnt have any new derogs on my CR and my TU score actually improved. I currently have a 646 TU score.

I'm so mad. I've been with BOFA since 1993 for my checking account and I started this BOFA secured card with all positive marks and they wont even graduate the darn $500.00 secured CL to an unsecured amount.

    Any advice...

I just sent a letter to Planetfeedback for BofA. I did not choose to public share it. Will this hurt my chances for response? What do you all think? or should I send it again, but this time go public???

how did u only pay $99? I would like to pay $99 for $500 secured, but on their website it lists whatever deposit is made ($250-$5000) will be put in savings account and matched as a secured amount.

It doesn't mention that option anywhere on their website.

I applied for an unsecured card and received that offer in the mail with the letter on why I was denied.
