Received letter from BofA today. They received my PlanetFeedback letter. They are unable to locate a credit card acct under my name (it was my husband's) and want me to mail or fax them a complete copy of the credit report showing the acct in question. Should I do this? I think they cannot find it because the acct # on the cr is not a complete number therefore in my letter it is only a partial number. Please advise, and thanks for your help!
You should provide them the full info if they are researching something for you... did you provide the ss # I had a bofa alaskan airlines card that never showed up in their system... so.. kev
No, but they verified when Experian investigated. I'm sure they didn't have any info but my name and a partial acct # when I sent my PlanetFeedback letter.
PARTIAL ACCOUNT NUMBER IS FINE!!! "IF" you send the credit report COVER UP THE STUFF THEY DON'T NEED (before you make a copy)...LIKE ALL THE OTHER ACCOUNTS AND INQUIRES!!!
