Just received some BT checks from B of A. The offer indicates a 4% rate for the life of the balance transfer. If you have a card from B of A and this could help you, the toll free number from the letter is 800-732-9194. Call them if you did not receive the offer and see if you can get it. CardKid
Card kid you just missed a huge thread on this about 2 days ago maybe dave remembers mine was prime for life currently 4% and a dollar for dollar raise of cl for bt amount .I received checks in mail and email currently 32,500 boa rocks..
I'm gonna BT 9k and probably cut 6 cards. That's a sweet offer. And, BOFA is aggressive with their credit lines. Thanks for the heads-up. I probably posted to that thread. I also received my BOFA statement. Their term life is cheaper than what I already have. A 35 year old male could have 500k term coverage for $15.75/mo. My policy averages to 19.55/mo. Too late now. Dave, It says, The Annual Percentage Rate on the balances you transfer with the attached checks is a variable rate, currently only 4%. Great vision. It's a great deal while the rates are low. The balance should be satisfied before rates move again. I'm thinking at least through December. CardKid
I'm going to have to go find my offer again. I wasn't going to BT anything to it because I try to only carry balances on business cards that do not show on my report. But I don't think I saw that dollar for dollar credit limit increase part (it may not have been offered to me). If that is the case. I will do a transfer for a few weeks to take advantage of a higher credit limit.
Just found it... I can't see anything on the offer that indicates that my credit line will be increased. Too bad.
BEEN THERE~~DONE THAT... Ask for a "PRE-APPROVED" (NO CREDIT REPORT) LIMIT INCREASE at the same time as your BT...(EVERY 6-9 MONTHS!!!)

I said I'd like to transfer with this great offer but don't want to go above 50% on limit your email said ask for cl increase bam 7,500 more for the asking good luck..
