I was doing a search on yahoo and came across this site called www.thebestever.net/credit/ Has anyone ever heard of this? I don't want to pay $11.00 for this, because it probably is stuff we already know anyway. I was just wondering what the heck this was?
Ok. I bought the dumb thing and its a ripoff. You get the ebook which is exactly 16 screenfulls using the page down button. There isn't anything there that can't be found right here on creditnet and in spades, discussed many many times. There are no letters in it although it refers to sending letters asking for deleteions but no wording as to what it should say. It talks about the fico scores and claims that if you dispute whatever is your middle score, EQ, TU, EX, you will get a 25 or so point bump while the dispute is in progress so you pull the cute trick of disputing and then running to get your loan approved. I'm not going to give away all his so called "secrets" but I can guarantee that there is not one single solitary bit of information in his so called ebook that you won't find right here on credit net for free. Maybe a brand new newbie might think it was worth $5 or so but that's about the size of it. Pure pap. Personally I'd be ashamed to even give it away. Somebody might think that's all I know.
Every credit repair book I ever bought was a rip-off and I've got a whole shelf full of them, Most of them bought from bookstores and usually cost anywhere from maybe $9.95 on up to maybe $30 or so. Most of them have maybe one or two little tips but the whole mess of them put together wouldn't fix enough to be worth the price of any one of them. They all just keep coming up with the same old pap from radio shows or where ever and nothing that really goes out gets the job done. Every one of them reads about like something the government puts out in their mailings or pamphlets. This guy isn't even that good.
bbauer~~I'd be ashamed to even give it away. Somebody might think that's all I know. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That is like www.worthknowing.com it is "ALMOST" worth what you pay for it!!! It would really be nice if they gave you a $20.00 GIFT CARD to your favorite grocery store to use NOT~WORTHKNOWING!!!
Quite right, George, but what I can't figure out for the life of me is why it is that we are all aware that we live in a high tech age and most of us are really pretty sophisticated people. Most of us get a daily deluge of emails trying to sell us on some get rich quick scheme that never works or how to spam search engines or whatever so we are well aware that there are ripoffs out there than a gorilla has hair on hs back and then wants to ruin a business by selling junk information like that. No matter what you plan to do on the internet you have to build a high volume of traffic and you have to spend time and money to market a product and then go to go waste it all with a bunch of baloney like that is something I simply cannot understand. You can have trouble with your website or your tech support isn't quite up to snuff like is the case with privacyguard but if you are giving something to the public for their money that they feel is a good deal they will overlook minor details like that and give you good recommendations that will get you lots of sales. But you put out junk like this guy and you can lose more sales in a heartbeat than you can build in a lifetime. People don't ever forget a ripoff. Rip them off and they will hate you for the rest of their life and they will bad mouth you every chance they get. Give them honest value and more for their money and you will get more recommendations than you know what to do with. Selling junk and ripping people off is the worst thing in the world a business can do.
This may sound stupid but how do you dispute your FICO??? I have Credit Expert etc. but I have never seen this option. ( I am applying for mortgage this week) Thanks!!
You can't dispute your FICO. Can't even trade it on the stock market. (LOL) It's about like a good case of the flu. It's yours whether you like it or not. Frankly I'd rather have a case of the flu than a FICO score. (LOL) But you can dispute something on your middle fico score and maybe get a temporary bump in your score out of it. I really don't know if that's true or not. It might happen for all I know. I don't play those kinds of kid tricks.
I dont either but I was wondering what they were talking about. My FICO wouldn't get too far on the stock market anyway right now! I do need to boost my score though!
If you have negatives you need to work to get them off. If you have no negs and no credit either then you need to build some good positive credit
I thought it was helpful for the price. I liked the story about the temporarily bumping the score through the creditor. J.K.
