Viva la France Everything the French and Germans said was correct. Where are the weapons of mass destructions? We fought a war so that Dick Cheney could take care of Halliburton and George Bush could get Iraq's oil. The only thing the us mitilary secured in the war were the oil fields. Nothing was done to secure the nuclear facilities in the country, which were sacked and the nuclear fuel stored was looted, and God knows where it went; did any one say "dirty bomb?" Since there are no weapons of mass destruction, I guess we went to war to save the people of Iraq from their ruthless dictator. Ok, with such noble sentement, where were we seven years ago when more than 500,000 people died in Rawanda? Who are we kidding, this was a war for oil and nothing else!
Viva la France Maybe the above is true, I don't really know. But I do know that regardless of the above statements, the Frenchies still chupa! (chupa= hispanic for cksu, word scambler, I really don't like the way it sounds in English). PS....this opinion was formed longgggggggggggg before recent events.
Viva la France They do make good omelets, though. Also, nobody speaks better French than they do. So that's at least a couple of things going for them. Doc
Re: Viva la France EXCELLENT post Now in August 2003, STILL THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SIGN OF ANY WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction). We all realize now that Georges W Bush and Tony Blair had knowingly and repeatedly lied to us, betrayed us and the United Nations, in order to carry their sinful act of International Terrorism. LETS'S NOT FORGET that Bush, Blair and their Administrations tried to make us (and the World) beleive that Irak could launch (on America) WMD IN 45 MINUTES. Now we have created many more enemies (... again), by ILLEGALLY INVADING their country (whithout UN approval), killing thousands of innocent civilian victims and destroying everything they have and deserve, water, food, medecine, etc. And this isn't the first, second or tenth times. No wonder so many people (including many Americans) hate America. When their anger becomes unbearable and they try to revenge, we get stunned and call them terrorists. NEVER TREAT OR DO TO OTHERS WHAT YOU WOULDN'T LIKE TO BE DONE TO YOU !!! MAY PEACE and JUSTICE PREVAIL !!!
Re: Viva la France That's right Bela. Typical Liberal logic: Lets not make those who hate us and want to kill us angry, otherwise they might hate us and want to kill us. LOL So what country/planet are you from? .
Re: Re: Boycott France?! Guess what, I do not believe the frenchies are the only ones that hate America especially due to recent events. IYou can probably throw a dart at a world map and have a 50 50 chance of hitting another country that may have some distaste towards Americans. So this should not be such a heated argument. Heck some Americans in this country dont like Americans.
Re: Re: Boycott France?! Not an expert but quick question . Has the US never bribed other countries for support such as offering aid packages to other countries and what about situation right now with North Korea. Are we not going to offer concessions to North Korea to relieve the tension that has been building over there. Do you believe that dropping food packets in Afghanistan was to really help feed the civilians of that country or was it to win a few points with some of the tree huggers in this country and ll of the other peace advocates in the world. I have always believed the world revolves around money and I would fully support the war if I was confident that # 1. Saddam was really a threat to the US or B. Or # 2 We are going over there to benefit from the oil. Not necessarily to free a people that at times seem not to appreciate there new found freedom. If we go back in history most if not all of the wars we fought in had some economic benefit to us. Why did we wait so long to get involved with World War 2. I thought we were selling munitions to both sides at one point. Anyway just my 2 cents
