    It is kinda a small thing but I feel like celebrating because the wall is a comin down. I will just paste off my other forums:

    Ok as some of you know I am Scott on cardreport. For the last 8 months I have been helping hundreds of people with camco. I am in close contact with attorneys, the bbb, and many attorney generals. I also help out on ripoffreport and in fact I am the one that got the link started. Once I posted all the contact info I got tons of emails from that site also. Last week Camco was tossed out of the BBB Care program. Today the bbb updated again and it is with great relish that I post this quote:
    ================================
    Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to a pattern of complaints. The company resolved most presented by the Bureau.
    ==========================================
    I cannot tell you how hard I tried to get that stupid bbb care removal. I had to email hundreds of people over and over to get them to get those complaints out and the fruit of my labor has finally been felt. FINALLY I feel like the 8+ hours a day I put in are going somewhere. I am waiting on the illinois attorney general complaint list and I am putting together a portfolio that I can pass off to various newspapers, congressmen, and attorneys on this companys revolting business practices. You can also tell the pressure is being felt because camco employees are posting their misinformation and lies on cardreport and ripoffreport. TO WAR!!!

    Jesus H Christ, I just went over to CardReport forums and read up about Camco. True winners, aren't they?

    I can only thank all the gods in the world that we never had to deal with them.

    Good luck to you Scott and to all the other folks who are pouring their time & funds into the campaign against this company. I hope you have a big, fat win at the end. You deserve it.

    I checked out the bbb site today and camco is back to being updated. It was out 3 weeks last time. I bet you anything camco forked out a wad of cash and that unsatisfactory rating will be gone soon enough. I made a complaint to the bbb on march 15th and heard nothing so I called yesterday and they had no record of my complaint. I faxed over the email receipt to some supervisor but this just proves what I already know- a ton of complaints are missing. Once again I smell a rat.

    I applaud the efforts and offer a hearty job well done. Now, how about we get to work on tossing the BBB out! I realize that in many instances the BBB does a good service providing critical feedback to consumers in need of help. But I stopped placing any trust in the objectivity of the BBB as a whole a long time ago. If push comes to shove and I need help in gaining satisfaction to resolving a consumer dispute - the attorney general will usually always go to bat on my behalf!

    The strangest thing just happened. No more than 30 seconds after I posted this the BBB from chicago called me. They stated that they are very behind on BBB complaints and are just now finishing up all february complaints. She also said they put nothing down until the complaint is finally closed so all the complaints listed now are probably from the start of 2003. I asked her about the BBB buying their way back onto a good rating and she said no way would that be allowed. She said they had their membership revoked because of an extentive array of complaints on the same type of violation. Hahaha.

    Scott, I didn't realize picantel was this great warrior on behalf of consumers everywhere! You are blazing a trail.

    Way to go!!!

    Doc

    P.S. The war on terrorism knows no boundaries. Today camco... tomorrow NCO and North Korea (run by the same people, I understand)... :)

    A small victory, but a long way from winning the war.

    Good job!

    yeah really. A really long way to go if it even stops them. If I ever do stop camco I am going after the big dogs- asset acceptance. I am going after a couple of their attorneys in ohio.

    Hi Scott,
    Just wanted to make sure you were aware that I have received my confirmation of action by the Texas Attorney General. Still waiting for the Ill. Attorney General. If I don't hear from him soon, I am going to resend. I checked the BBB site today and it still is showing updating records. Just wanted to make sure you were aware.

    thanks for letting me know. I got another illinois AG complaint list today and they are up to 133 complaints which is around 31 more than 2 months ago. Not bad but it could be better. The things that irks me is most states would start investigating at around a dozen complaints give or take. Camco is up to 133 yet there is no relief in site. Ludicrous. any other business would have been fined up the wazoo but since illinois gave them tax breaks they are a bit slow in the punishment. Starting this week I am gonna turn up the pressure. enough is enough.
