It only harms the purpose of the board, The only thing it serves is the individuals satisfaction at the expense of helping the other readers & the striving to reach the overall goal of the board.
Ignore feature I have to agree I don't like the ignore feature because it deflates the entire purpose of exchanging information and communication. My thinking is we have to deal with people daily that we cannot stand (or just barely stand) in our lives. Try putting your father-in-law on ignore, or your boss...I wish. If I don't like what someone says I either respond and let them know, or move on. The ignore feature is childish. Plus, we miss out on really good threads, and sometimes posts, from persons we may not get along with. I may be the only one that feels this way, but just my $.02. Dani
