I'm having a streak of bad luck and to top things off, my 3-week old car had two of its tires slashed last night. I was absolutely thrilled about this.

I see bridgestone/firesone has a 90-day-same-as-cash deal if you get their card (which is thru 'Credit First Nat'l Assn).

Has anyone heard of this issuer before, and also does anyone have any experience with the card and how easy it is to get?

My scores are falling b/c the auto loan is beginning to report...TU 612, EX 590, EQ 650.

The int. rate is high 21.84%, but the same as cash deal looks great so long as I get it paid off b4 the promo expires.

    Thanks, Matt.

They are a bit questionable. This is what the Better Business Bureau has on them:

    Matt,

If you want to deal with a bank you've actually heard of, you could try the Goodyear retail card, now offered by Citibank. I seem to remember they have a fairly high interest rate too.

If you like the 90 day deal on the other card, and if you like Firestone tires (???) , then by all means proceed.

Well the tires are alredy on my car, so I'm just taking the firestones. There is not a bridgestone store in my immediate area and since I had to have it towed, I didn't want to go very far (they charge by the mile). I think I'll just charge it to another card...

I think the GOODYEAR card has 90 or 180 days...0.00%

Stay away from these roll overs.
I had the side wall blow out on 3 out of 4 of them.

    Goodyear Card

Has 90 Days Same As Cash for any purchase above $100.

You can apply online, but the approvals are better in the stores.

The best deal I've seen on tires is at wallmart.
Just got 2 there for $38.72 each includes new valve stems , life time wheel balance , free rotation every 6000 miles . road hazzard and lifetime free flat repair.
