I rented out my property to a single person. She always paid her rent two-three days late. I called her to find out what happen to this months rent, and she told me that she is under stress, and that she lost her loved one. The next few days I continue to call her because it was nearing the middle of the month. I visite my property and she would not see me, she left a note on the door, stating that she would move out in three days, and she will leave the house clean, and pay for this months rent. UNBELIEVABLE...... I called her and left a message on her answer machine, telling her that she has put me in a situation, that I cannot afford...She never returned my call. She owes me 6 months of rent, her lease what she signed is up in November 05 What can I do to retrieve my rent money, and for her to clean my house.
You should get an attorney. You will win your case. The tenants does not always have rights. Good luck
