BT question

    Hi,
    Do any of you have experience doing a BT for other
    than a full balance amount? Any CC's let you transfer half of a balance to their card?

    I just did a couple to BoA, and when I was giving the csr the info, I told them how much I wanted to transfer

    As long as you BT >$100 it does not matter.

    F.Y.I. if you are applying for a new card and want to transfer $2,000
    YOU MAY ONLY GET $2,100...if you were to put $4,900 on the same application...you would PROBABLY get $5,000.
