Bud Hibbs is a radio personality who specializes in credit-related issues. Frankly, I've not assessed the quality of his advice, but I was looking at his site -- http://www.budhibbs.com -- and noticed that he's put his book (formerly sold at the site for around $20) on the site as a Word document for free. Here's the download link: http://www.budhibbs.com/downloads/book.zip It's a "zipped" file, so you first unzip it and then open it in Microsoft Word. I haven't had a chance to look it over yet, but maybe there's something in there that may be useful to somebody. In any event, hopefully it will be entertaining to read some sections even if it's old hat to us Creditnet addicts. Doc
Doc, thanks for the link. Been looking through it a little bit, so far so good. Only one *mistake* - he lists TRW as a CRA...... Thanks again
All, This book was written in 1995. He still refers to TRW at various points in the book as well. I am sure some of the general points are still applicable today, but overall, I don't know. Edit: Oops, Javan already posted what what I said, never mind...
Thanx Doc, I've read every word of Budd's site. Somewhere in there he states that the reason it's free is because it's actually very old. It's a great read though. Just be sure to double check stuff.
