Re: business cell accounts For those who did the Articles of Incorporation in California what did you put for number of stocks authorized to issue. Also did you guys fill out the General Corporation?
Re: business cell accounts Hi, one of the people I work with said 10,000 shares which is the amount issued!
Re: business cell accounts Hi, I have been studying these post.....How do I get a high Dunn & Bradstreet score????
Re: Re: business cell accounts I'd rather do it myself to save money. I wanted to see what other people put on their Articles of Incorporation.
Re: Re: Re: business cell accounts Does the type of Corporation matter? Currently considering setting up an LLC company as a business venture with my brother. Business credit would help, long range. Any recommended resources?
Biz credit Hey! No one has posted here all summer! Wanted to say hi gang! Kev (and others) ...it'd probably be helpful for new people for you to post all the credit you KNOW you didn't even have to give your SS# for, much less a PG. I know it'd be appreciated! Have a great weekend! Amy
checking acct balance Hey Trendy, what did you put for a checking acct balance when you got the bp card. Was it the same or more than the cl you requested? Do you remember?
As a Corporation are there any Credit Cards (Master/Visa Cards) that donot require a PG for a Business Credit Card. If there are not any Creditors who issue Credit to Corporations or LLC without any PG information my question is what is the point of obtaining a Business Credit Card if your FICO score is an issue. For example, my Coporation Paydex score is 85 and my FICO score is 500 and Creditor wants a PG SSN and other information. Most business owner need a Master or Visa not charge cards like Staples and Lowes etc. Are there any Credit Cards without any Requested Personal G./info e-mail me and let me know ASAP. has anyone actually received a DUNS number w/o paying for the "Creditbuilder Hi My question is has anyone actually received a DUNS number w/o paying for the "Creditbuilder" . My hubby also has a corporation and "applied" for a DUNS number about a year ago and they gave him the 'ol run around" and said he couldnt have one unless he paid for the service. They said the DUNS number was usless to him. I again applied for one in his corp name today to see if they would issue it this time. I understand it won't establish his credit blah, blah, but has a business two years old with no corp credit and I want to start building it Question #2 after more though reading of this thead I have another question . Is it just as effecting in building a DnB "paydex" number i fI apply to places before the number is actually issued ? Or If we dont have a number yet, any new lines of credit I am able to get will then not post since their is no file ? In other words do you need to request a DnB number/file to be opened before business accounts will report ?If no DnB number then no credit issued ? We have the 411 listing Business phone and fax # and a 2years old business with a 10mo old incorporation date. Thanks again Sbdmom Thanks Sbdmom
You don't need Credit Builder to get a Paydex. You get a Paydex by companies you buy things from on credit and they report it to DNB. All Credit Builder does is lets you add a few accounts that might not report to DNB on a regular basis. #2 Not sure exactly, but I'm lead to believe that you don't need a DNB # to apply and get credit because a lot of businesses have a DNB # and don't even know it.
Thanks ! &sharing the journey thus far.. HI Bigmon, Thanks for the reply, Hubby has has the corp as his/our main source of income, but to this point we have just paid cash for things , its it soo time to build this business up a bit I thought we had a 411 listing but today I learned something new.. Fyi: for anyone using vontage phone service, they WILL NOT list your business in 411 directory. We were able to get the phone number listed online with superpages. HOwever, to get the business number listed in the phone book and in the 411 directory, I needed to get what they call a "foreign listing" with verizon. From here in S. Cal, it was $30.00 set up fee and it will be billed annually at 1.75 /mo... I applied for the DnB free lisiting , today hubby got to call them back to give them "more information" before they "approved it". Basically he got a run around. After some bitching the guy on the phone gave in and told hubby he would get him the number and it would take 30days BUT the number would be blocked untill he called back and paid the "registration" fee. (Appaerently the registration fee is about $200.00 and different than the "creditbuilder" program. ) What a pain. Next step? I am waiting a few days to make sure the 411 gets listed , them maybe off to apply at Staples...I am not sure if I will wait till we get the "DnB number" seems theres no guarentee it will even be emailed. Thanks for all the help ..this thread is awesome -Sbdmom
The DNB people are realy a hassle to deal with sometimes. I got mine 4 years ago and never had to pay anything. After the 30 days they did call just to verify things and give me my number. I'm not sure if things have changed since then. They keep calling and telling me that I have to get Credit Builder to get major accounts. They stumble when I tell them that I already have several major accounts. I have a program from Verizon called Remote Call Forwarding. It cost $17.95 a month and has a 411 listing. Calls go directly to my cell phone. Your deal sounds better. I'll have to check into it. If you go to creditboards.com there are a lot of people from here that have good info on building biz credit too.
I am working on opening a retail store. I am incorporated as a C corp (finalized in Sep 06), 411 listed, and have my FEIN and a business checking account. I applied fro revolving credit at officemax.com and was declined - then noticed the OP says to fax the application. HAs anything changed regarding store cards? I noticed that OM is underwritten by HSBC and Staples by Citi - neither are BK friendly.
Got my Paydex with -get this - 3 tradelines, max was 250 (must have been OD) Turns out (as I look at my free D&B report) that since my annual sales were low (I made a conservative estimate), once my monthly tradelines were > 10% of my monthly sales I became eligible. My credit totals are actually 24%, according to the report.
I recently purchased an aged corp (4 years old) with an 80 paydex what would be the best credit cards and LOC for me to acquire at this point?
