I have an account showing in dispute on Experian that I did not, and have NEVER disputed.

It is technically a "negative" TL because it has some old lates, but I didn't want to dispute it because I didn't want to risk it being deleted altogether. (Its a current student loan that has a lot of years on it.)

Should I just wait and see what happens?

Could it be the student loan people who are "disputing" it?

I do have a online dispute on a different TL still pending with Experian, and last week they just signed for my no-reponse-within-30-days-so-you-must-delete letter (which involved three OTHER accoutns).

    What could be going on?

thanking in advance for any help you can provide.

    peace,
    delilah

Well, did ya think about calling them and asking? Maybe they will take it out of dispute if you fear it being deleted.

Have you recently disputed a previous address or other personal information? When I disputed DH previous addresses, Exp. put to positive TL in dispute. I called to find out why, and they said they were verifying that they were verifying the deletion of the previous addresses. Just a thought, but yes, I would call them.
