This is in reference to the following thread about my problem with Sears.

    http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&postid=382043#post382043

I received a letter from Sears telling me that they would like to resolve this matter quickly and requesting I call them and talk to a customer service rep. In my original letter, I requested that all communication about this be via mail.

Am I correct to assume that I should write them back and ask that all communication be on paper?

Also, they haven't as yet, pulled my credit report anywhere.

When/if I write back, what should I say?

By the way, I found out that Equifax has the DOLA as 3/99.

Well, they still haven't pulled my credit report, which I thought was what I was trying to get them to do.

I am looking for a little guidance on what to say if I write them back.

Don't you just hate it when you can't force a company to violate (or violate additionally) ;)
