This might be a little long- apologies I stumbled across an old thread by NanaC about State laws & started reasearching... Ga. 120-1-10-.03 Receipts and Other Papers Evidencing Indebtedness. Amended This is a RULE & not law, so I don't think that I can nor should use it for validation... BUT - now we the term 'Evidence of Indebtedness'(a google search nets a multitude of court cases) I think that this could be worthwhile in a validation letter... Instead of the standard 'show I owe/ show me the contract'' not mine'. Maybe use: 'I demand Evidence of Indebtedness in the form of a contract bearing my signature' They still may not respond or provide proof, but this shows that you are Litigiously Serious (for lack of a better term)..and might look better if it ever does go to court. BTW- I'm putting together my 1st letters- so this is just theory... I value your thoughts & opinions... S23
