ok, it has been a while, but I'm faced with a new neg TL on my CR. here is the rundown: over a year ago, CA reported a medical collection on my report. I went through validation, dispute, threat to sue, etc..they never responded. The TL for this account has remained in a 'disputed' state on my CR for that entire period. Also, I called them at one point over a year ago and got 'we will never remove a TL". so, fast forward to today..all of a sudden I have a new TL from them right above the old one that is a different account number, and for a sub-20 dollar amount. Im wondering how I can proceed with this place? It has been a while and due to my past dealings with them, I know it is going to be real hard. Do I treat the new TL as something seperate and validate and all that crud, or lump them together and mention how they never did anything with the previous one? Im so confused and annoyed. oh btw, this new TL is most certainly for something medical, as was the first one. they collect mainly for hospitals in this area.
I was looking into Why Chat's HIPAA info, but I have no idea what this new collection is for..never got anything from this CA in the mail.
