buying a car after a repo

    how long does ti take for a repo to show on your credit report can you still buy and what places are financing in these situation...


    please advise...

    Not sure how long it takes to report, but you can still buy from those Buy here Pay here places.

    i dont want to use them i want a nice car that i can drive on the highway
    i may need to tell her to see if the bank will tell her where it will be auctioned at and go there to get it. you thing they will tell her where they will auction her car.

    transouth, drive financial, these are two high risk car lenders I know of...be prepared to pay 20% interest rates.

    lendingtree.com will query transouth if you apply for an auto loan there.

    most of these places will put restrictions on what you can buy though.
    ie, the car has to be newer than 3 years and have less than 60,000 miles, etc ,etc, etc
    also a large down payment would be required

    *they are also extremely rude and ruthless people..be prepared for it in advance if you go this route. they are prone to making mistakes on your account and it takes an act of congress to make them fix them.*

    any one know of any other places and how do i contact them .. also what is a large down payment like 1000 please let me know

    I'm thinking maybe 20%.
