i currently own a home and would like to look into purschasing a new one in 2 years. If I had 2 90 days late showing 2 years ago how long will I have to wait generally to buy another home?
Are you saying they are 90 day lates now, but will be two years old when you want to buy a house? Two year old lates are not important. So long as your scores are fine, you have no collections or judgments, you should be fine.
Re: Re: buying a house with poor credit I have about 8 30 day lates and 1 collection ,all in 98 (four years back) but since then maintained clean perfect credit.I'm getting mortgage quotes that are about 0.25%-0.50% less than the best rate.Not bad...In fact initially I wanted to wait for couple of more years so that the score can improve,but looking at the low,low rates I kind of wanted to test the waters and asked couple of lenders for quotes,and to my surprise I got good rates.
