"A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or consciously avoids knowing that the information is inaccurate."

Fair Credit Reporting Act. Section 623. Subsection 1, Paragraph A.

"if the chief law enforcement officer of a State, or an official or agency designated by a State, has reason to believe that any person has violated or is violating this title, the State...may bring an action to enjoin such violation in any appropriate United States district court or in any other court of competent jurisdiction"

Fair Credit Reporting Act, section 621, subsection C, paragraph 1.

"In the event of a knowing violation...the Federal Trade Commission may commence a civil action to recover a civil penalty... against any person that violates this title. In such action, such person shall be liable for a civil penalty of not more than $2,500 per violation.

Fair Credit Reporting Act. Section 621. Subsection A, Paragraph 1.

Come on Eddie, or Bobby or whoever you are, what's your reply to that?

You are right all the way.

No action has been brought against any of the companies listed below for selling trade linesand all off the companies are sign up to pull reports and add good are bad credit.

    My question to you.
If you dispute a negative item on your credit report that you know that you fail to pay and you want it off your report so you can go out and screw someone else that is call Mail fraud and wire fraud. If the FCRA enforce the laws half the country will be in JAIL.

    don't hold your breath

Geez, Bobby's at it again. He makes all these claims and then when he is asked for any verification he sputters and stalls and stonewalls. Or he'll offer to verify to you if you send him a small ($300) cash fee for his valuable information.

In the last two years, Bobby (Eddie, Robert, etc.) has claimed to be close personal friends with the presidents of all three bureaus (although the fact that TRW was no longer TRW but Experian seemed to have passed him by). He claimed to be a private detective licensed in Mexico, but the license number he provided on his website (a free MaxPages page) was not a legitimate number according to the Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles (it didn't even follow the ID number format). He also claimed to be able to get anyone off of ChexSystems, he's back with that one now. He said that he would buy your delinquent account and then remove the entry once you paid him. However, ChexSystems only takes information from member banks and runs its own collection agency and does not sell its collection accounts. He has also claimed that he can do the same with revolving accounts.

His phone number on his website was a pre-paid phone number in Las Vegas and when he used to have an address on the site one time it was P.O. Box, another time it was a vacant lot and another time the street didn't even exist.

He has slandered and threatened many people on this board, some of whom were very knowledgable and left once they got their fill of Bobby's shenanigans.

He disappears from time to time and then rears his ugly head again. I have my suspicions about these absences, but I have no proof.

He's a scam artist. You'll never get any answers.
