I sent the letter after the validation letter stating that the verification they sent was not sufficient to warrant that I owed 750, been 15 days and walla, I get tons more information regarding debt. Welp I paid 500 out of the 750 and they deleting the tradelines. I think it as a victory for a few reasons, #1 I paid what I felt was fair, #2 They had to work their ass off for it, and #3 I don't have to worry about it anymore.
Yeha i got it all in writing, if you saw what I had put them through you would have paid to seen it. They had to produce like 15 documents. It was pretty funny. Yeah I have a copy from them CA and a copy that the OC sent to the CA. Plus on the back of the Money Order I had a stipulation that it was Payment in Full and that all tradelines on my credit bureau reports will be deleted.
Restrictive endorsments don't always hold up in court. As long as they sent you a letter agreeing to deletion in exchange for payment, you should be good to go. If not, you could have a problem.
Well the OC lives 2 miles from me, the CA is 30 minutes from me. I would be to their advantage to delete it or I might become a permanent fixture in their place of business.
That may work but since you already have something in writing from them that they will delete, it should be clear sailing anyway.
