OK..... This C/A is reporting dates : date open: 2/1997 reported since: 5/1996 date of status: 5/1996 last reported: 3/1998 The dates are not correct (the open date). So, how should I go about this??? I previously sent the c/a validation and no response from them and I sent estoppel no response. I know they are in violation. But what approach can I use with the dates?????
Looks like you might be able to get the entire thing removed. How long has it been since you sent the validation? Did you get the little green card back? Cause if they can't validate, they can't continue to report. That's continued collection activity.
What if, on your Experian file, the "reported since" date is almost one year before "account opened"?
