How many other derogs do you have on your report? If you still have several others, sometimes getting a derog account, or late pay deleted won't affect your score positively much at all.

Case in point. Lizardkings' wife had 1-90 day late on her EQ report from Sears. Her FICO was somewhere around 611. After that 1 derog mark was removed, her score shot up approx 100 points.

I have had 1 medical collection, 1 60 day and 1 90 day removed from my Experian report over the last month and my score shot up 40 points total. I still have 7 derog accounts. I think you should have had some increase in score with removal of a charge-off. Was this an "unrated" charge-of??

it was charged off 5 years ago , still showing balance 865.00..
In the last month from Experian I have had two defaulted student loans changed from collections to "Paid", not paid as agreed, just paid but they moved from deliquent to positive section. 1 recent
(2 year old)c ollection deleted and the above charge off deleted.
For a total of 30 points.
Oh and yesterday an inquiry (very recent)was removed for 1 point.
