Has anyone used this to get a cash advance? Since I don't have a BT available, I was thinking of using this to transfer some cash to my bank account. Is this considered a regular transaction at your regular rate, or is it a higher rate? Do they impose a fee like they would a BT? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for your reply. Romanduv is saying you can use your Citi account for a transfer to c2it for a free cash advance, as long as you do not abuse it. The question that was never answered in that thread was what is abuse? If I do $3000 over the priod of a few weeks, with an available limit of $7500, is that abuse? And, is it done at the normal charge rate for your card?
It will depend on the card. All my citibank cards are treated as purchases. The others I have tested were treated as a cash advance. I have with drawn money from my Citbank card and transfered to my bank account no problems.
ng: How are you transferring money form your charge card to your bank account? Do you use one of their checks? An online BT? Are there any fees? Do they treat it as a cash advance or a regular charge?
Good discussion... Is it true that MBNA and Citibank USA will register C2it transactions as purchases? Also, if I moved $5000 over two weeks, would that consitute "abusing" the service? Thanks,
Karen I transfer xx amount into my C2it account it is instant w/ a credit card then I transfer xx amount into my bank account that I have linked with them. If you add funds from credit card instant you can also transfer to another card same day process. It has taken 2-3 days to get into my bank account. If you hit a weekend it will be longer. You can request a check but that would take longer.
