Has anyone used this new service by Citibank. It can be used to email cash. Does anyone know if the transaction appears as cash or a purchase?

Umm Purchase with citibank and capitalone cards. I send about $900 a month (child support) using it. Remember theres a $2 per transaction fee after 90 days of initial registration.

Works most excellent, has much higher limits and "credits" your receival of payments to citibank cards in 1 business day, which is much faster than the holds paypal and others have.

Capitalone, citi = purchase, ymmv with other cards.

Was unable to enroll, not even after being approved for a Citi checking account.

They seem to go a bit overboard on thier fraud prevention, my account was blocked. Some of my friends were closed after being opened!

    Colour me unimpresssed!

Actually i sent $450 twice to my Ex over a period of a month, the day after i sent the second one, my account was blocked, i received a call about an hour later from Citi Fraud Early Warning department asking if these charges were legit. I'm glad they verified it. Places like paypal just lock your account, and leave it be until you figure it out. Then months later give you your account back. C2it has always been professional. They do reserve the right to check your credit for Personal information (ie ssn, name address), and they do ask for a written copy of your check. Hopefully this will allow them to continue to do business without the nazi "paypal" or "x.com" methods.
