   My daughter left an apartment complex and they are saying that they had $1200 damage. BS Now, they have sent it to a CA and they are charging a $608 COLLECTION FEE. They're on crack. Charlie

   You need to read the lease that your daughter signed to see what fees are allowed under the lease. You also need to check your state laws to find out if a 50% add on is allowable. read this ftc letter.
