Nationwide Credit has accepted an offer to delete the trade line for a reduced amount but 'says' they don't understand what I mean by deleting the trade line. They have 'suggested' that it would be "just as good" to have the trade line state 'settled'.

I responded that I do not want a 'settled' account listing but want full deletion. They said they would comply 'if' I can explain how to do the deletion as they don't know how.

I feel that they are jerking me around here...what should I respond with?

    Thanks for any responses...

Tell them you want the TL removed from your CR. *poof* As if it never existed. If that doesn't work, as GEORGE says, draw them a picture.

    ----------------------------------------------------------
    CA TL owed $193 Charge-OFF 10/03
    ----------------------------------------------------------

Print it out twice, label one as before, one after.

On the after one, black out their TL with white out or a black permanent marker. They'll get the 'picture'.

Tell them to send a UDF to you and the CRA's marked "delete"
