by writing the CA to remove inquiries with a CRA? I have several inquiries from CA's who have since stopped collection activities and subsequently turned the account back to the OC or another CRA after being unable to validate. However, the inquiry remains on my credit report and the CRA's are refusing to delete....saying permissible purpose, etc. Has anyone ever had success getting the CA to delete after they have failed to validate or is this just a vain attempt?
