Hi Guys.... I have a collection which recently showed up on my credit report from MCI. I can't remember ever having them, but at any rate the collection was reported in 10/01. I just rec'd the first communication from the collection agency. Is the collection agency required to notify us in writing upon rec'pt of the account? ....or can they report the account first and then send the letter whenever they want? Thanks
