CA No longer has account.....

    I have a tl on my EQ report from a CA who is no longer the assigned CA. I was contacted by another CA who informed me that they currently have the account. Of course, I checked with the OC to find out which of the CA's has the account and I found out that the second CA does. I paid the second CA who never reported to CRAs. The first CA, however is still showing on my EQ report, do I just dispute and see what happens?

    yes yes. I am not one of the experts, but have been working my on my report since 3/10/04.

    I had the same situation, and in my dispute requested deletion. Result deleted from TU, but EXP updated it to Paid/Collection. I am in the next steps now, because we know this is completely inaccurate, as I did not pay CA1 (I also didn't pay CA2, paid OC.. by the way this was for a measly $26.00.. my bad on that one)
