I have sent 4 validation requests CMRRR on 4 separate occasions to a Receivables Performance and they have all been sent back to me by the post office - refused. Can I submit these to the CRA's that verified my disputes to have this account removed?
Keep your letters AND the envelopes (marked "refused"). If they ever a file a suit against you you can then prove that they refused a legal validation request by you. Someone else might be more knowledgeable about a CRA's removal of negative info on your report.
Don't open the envelopes. Leave them as you received them. You might want to Cover yourself, and send one more letter, certified AND regular mail, so they can't say they didn't get it, or it was some vague post office error, or some other pitiful excuse.
Was the validation request timely? Not that it is relevant as to whether they should accept mail but, it is important for other issues.
The first and 2nd ones were within the 30 days of first communication. The 3rd and 4th were not. I even contacted them annomiously by phone to confirm mailing address for payments, and for general mail. Everything is correct.
I will presume that they're reporting on your report insofar as they usually do. That being said, have you disputed the tradelines throught the credit reporting agencies? If not, you can usually delete them.
