   I just checked my TU report and I noticed I have two pretty new collection accounts listed. They are showing as accounts placed recently, however they are many YEARS (circa 1996) old. How can I get them to stop reaging this account and making my report look bad? Any help appreciated.

   dispute the date of last activity with the CB or go debt validation with the CA. the fact that the wrong date is listing to the CB is a good indication that the CA doesn't have any original paperwork.
