I just paid the OC what should Ido to get this of. I have disputed this two times. No luck, & Ca pull a soft. I don't want to call & said I paid it because then they will report it as a paid collection. Can someone help me with the right letter?
Let me make sure I understand - you have an account that was farmed out to a CA, you paid the OC but the CA is still reporting it on your CR? And you've disputed it with the credit reporting agencies and it's coming back verified? If that is the case my guess is that you need a straight forward validation demand letter to start, sent certified return receipt requested. If you've already paid the OC the CA WON"T be able to validate, and they'll have to delete. I hope someone who knows more can help. Good luck to you, Poochie
yes, I want to send them a copy of the check & tell them please remove I don't owe u Sh$t. I had I paid collection letter, but don't what I did with it, or just ask for them to validate.
I wouldn't send them a copy of the check - that could make them just report it as a paid collection. Simply demand validation and wait the alloted time. If they provide fake validation and continue to report it, sue them and present a copy of the check in court. I hope someone here can address the issue of the CRA "verifying" false information.
