Hope someone might be out there... Just looking for advice on procedure Had an old medical bill that went to collection $190. After contacting Dentist & Insureance, reduced to $140. I paid dentist (OC) directly with the understanding that the TL was to be removed. Just lloking at my report online and the TL for the CA (Synergy) now says paid/coll. Is this a violation? I did not pay the CA, nor had I received anything from the CA (yes I know the weakness of that). HELP -Robyn
dispute the acct with the CRA and tell them acct was paid Prior to being sent to CA this may help get the TL deleted. wait until you have the results before you do anything else. if this doesnt work try writing a letter to the CA ( ceo or VP) requesting that they send you a letter of deletion as the acct was paid .( this may or may not work) next you can write a letter to the OC and ask them to inform the CA to delete it.
