I just got the results from my dispute with experian. All 3 accounts from american agencies were verified and updated. I originally made the mistake of calling them and the girl I talked to said 2 of the 3 accounts have the same SSN, but different first and middle name. The Original Acct was from Pacbell, the phone number she said was listed for the 2 accts was not even in any area code I had lived in. She then said they would be taken off my CR. Now american agencies verified them. WTF??? What is my next step? As always, your help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Also, these 2 accounts are one digit off on the acct # and they are for the same amount. All other data is the same as well. They are not only not mine, but they are reporting duplicate stuff.
i still demand procedures, even though I know it's not mine right??? I also have never sent a letter to the CA for validation, should I do that? Thanks
Demand validation from AA... Unfortunately, EX usually won't allow you to dispute ANY account for ANY reason once it has been verified once for ANY dispute. You may be able to get them to try again, but it's an extreemely hard thing to pull off...
