    Dear XX,

An important battle for your financial privacy is being fought this week in the California State Assembly. Big banks are working aggressively to defeat Senate Bill 773 - a bill designed to protect your personal information.
Banks and financial institutions currently make millions of dollars selling your personal information without your permission. E-LOAN is strongly opposed to this violation of your privacy and Senate Bill 773 would let you determine how your information is shared.

Not only is information selling a violation of your privacy, it has also resulted in disturbing increases in identity theft and elder abuse. There is simply no defensible reason for this practice to continue.

Let your Assemblyperson know that you want your financial privacy protected. Visit www.californiaprivacy.org to contact your Assemblyperson by Wednesday, August 28th, and tell them to vote Yes on Senate Bill 773.

    Sincerely,

    Chris Larsen
    Chairman and CEO
    E-LOAN Inc.
