This morning I called TransUnion to discuss consolidating numerous mortgage related inquiries appearing on my report. The representative told me that she would have to have someone call me back, as she was "unable to access my file". She would not comment any further as to what that meant. Any ideas as to what may be going on with these guys? Is this response possibly resulting from the fact that I am having a law firm challenge items on my credit report, or because I personally have challenged the inquiries on my reports? Any thoughts? Has anyone else had this experience with TransUnion before?
