Has anyone ever dealt with these jerks? I had a chase manhatten visa that went to chargeoff one year ago with a balance of 2025.00(orignal credit limt 1000.00) I get a call from this collection agency and they were pretty aggressive. I agreed to settle on the account, and requested a contract. I have seen every trick in the book with these guys. They are trying like hell to set me up with default so I have to pay the full amount. I sent in last payment and they are saying that I had insufficient funds, however, my bank has nothing about it. I just would like to here if anyone has dealt with these people. thanks
http://www.budhibbs.com/collection_agencies_to_avoid.htm No. 16 The couple who "owned" our phone number prior to us, has some sort of debt with them. I have tried to get through their voice mail hell to get them to stop call our number but no luck. Without any details I can't get a voice mail box. The office mail box is always full. The couple must have been served, cuz its' been three weeks and no phone calls. Thank God. My MIL was over once when they called on a Saturday afternoon I thought omg she thinks it for us.
I notice Bud Hibbs lists them as pretty bad on his site. www.budhibbs.com (I think that will take you to his site.) Maybe if you e-mail him he can shed some light on how you should deal with these guys. Tuit
