Oh my gosh that was funny. I called camco on behalf of someone and talked to their compliance officer(haha). He asked who I was and I told him I helped people who are being abused by his company. He asked if I was accusing his company of abusing people and I said yes and then he said my job must be to help people get out of paying their bills. hahahaha. I told him do not even go there. He said he would take it up with his boss. Oh my gosh that was funny.

Nah he did not ask anything personal on the debt. He was more interested in who I was and shifting the blame from his scumbag companies collection tactics. It is amazing how no matter what they do they always shift it to a 'moral thing' on paying your bills. How about the morality of breaking federal law, making people cry, abuse, calling people kids names, calling at all hours of the morning, taking advantage of single mothers on a tiny income, collecting on BK debts, ect. I have seen it all. Before I die someday hopefully far into the future I swear I will take this company down.

They actually tried to send me validation. I got a notarized letter saying they bought the debt and of course a computer printout, along with an offer to settle. They did not address the point in my letter about 2 calls after my validation request. I told them I am having Sprint pull my home phone records to prove this. I also faxed them back a letter telling them their validation did not comply with FDCPA and that they read Spears v. Brennan and the Wollman letter and told them either validate according to the law or cease ALL collection activity.
No calls or letters since, and I faxed it last Sunday night.

And if they call again, I will file and spend the $50 for small claims just to prove my point.
