I had my BK 7 discharged in October. Prior to that, I filed BK 7 in December 2002, but it was dismissed in May 03. Refiled in August, and got the dischrage in October. This is in regards to Equifax. In November, I disputed both BK filings as "not mine." The Dec. 2002 filing came back verified, but the August filing was not, and therefore it was deleted from my CR. I still have some accounts that say charge off, and other things besides "included in bankruptcy." I just noticed that now EQ shows my BK filing from December as being "discharged." This is inaccurrate. I will dispute this, because I do not have a BK filing from December 02 that was discharged. It was dismissed. Unfortunately, the other CRAs report both publice records correctly. My question is, if I dispute this current BK listing on my report, and they now discover that they made an error in deleting the other listing, can they reinsert it?
