Can a judgement be repeated?

I had a judgment vacated so that I could start payments. The judge granted that motion contingent on me finding a job. She gave me two months. That was in July. I haven't found one yet. I contacted the CA's attorneys in November, informing them that I couldn't start payments yet because I am still unemployed. The letters and calls have stopped once I contacted them but I'm afraid that the CA will go back to court to reinstate the judgment and freeze my bank account again. I still don't have a job and have just a little over $100 in the bank What can I do?

So, I guess that means it can be repeated. But how can I work out some type of deal with the CA?

You can always work out a deal, BUT ONLY work out a deal in writing.

In other words, something that if they do try to go back to the judge, you have a written agreement to fall back on.

But the problem with a written agreement, is that its binding on both of you, so if you can't afford to agree to paying them *ANYTHING* now, you don't have anything to offer them now.

Even if you could offer a small amount (chances are a few bucks is better than no bucks in their eyes) now, and on a regular payment schedule; it could be enough to appease the savage beast.

Thanks for the advice! I was thinking about sending in something but should I do it by money order and not a personal check? I don't think it will make a difference because the CA has my bank account info already.
