Let me ask you something. My wife has a ATT platinum card and I was thinking if she could change it to CITI Platinum. Is that possible?

I think somebody said you can replace any citi card with any other citi.

I asked Citibank a month ago about converting an AT&T Universal and Citi USA card to a Citi card and they said that they cannot merge their "affinity" cards now or for another 5 years...

    marci,

Associates National Bank Visa/MC cannot convert into Citi Platinum Select Card even though they merged with Citibank (SD).

AT&T has a contract with Citi that the personal accts can not be changed/converted for another 5-6 yrs.
It was my understanding it was a 10 yr contract originally, and its been about 4yrs already since Citi took over, Thats what I was told when I asked. The Business cards were under a different contract apparently, since they were all converted to Citibusiness, and the AT&T Business card was discontinued.
