My mother is letting my alcoholic brother take care of her finances against my wishes and I think that he's sticking her with credit card bills. Is there any way I can find out who she owes? She has no idea what he does with her money and trust him. I know from expierence that he lies and decieves her. here is an a fast track of info. order your moms credit report on privacyguard.com it will ask you her adress, SSN, and a mortgage question if she had any for the past 3 years. If she had no mortgages you can basicly say no to all questions and get her credit report in a sec. than look at the balances.
Ask her to get a copy of her credit reports. That should give you a good idea of anything she has financed.
