I'd like one of you guys that have been around forever to take a look at my reports and tell me what to go after first and just sorta get me on my way.

    TIA,

    Steve

Identify inaccurate items, write letters to any CRA that is reporting inaccurately and dispute the accuracy of the tradeline(s).

You may wish to send Certified Mail..I don't consider it to be entirely necessary during the initial stages.

If the investigations do not result in accurate reporting, I would then contact the furnisher (person that is reporting inaccurately to the CRA) and obtain documentation from the furnisher that states how items should be reflected in your credit file.

Obtain these docs from the furnisher, send another dispute with docs attached to dispute letter.

Try to be friendly, patient..keep good records of all phone conversations (who you spoke to, time, date, subject matter of conversation, etc..)
