I have a lot of old items, some still unpaid. Are there services that offer to review the credit reports and give advice on the best route to take?
I literally have no spare time and would like to get a handle on this.

One of the things I have learned recently is that wealthy people spend more time on their finances than lower income groups. And lets be honest, if us lower income groups had sufficient money to pay our bills we would have better credit.

So, i'm going to pick on you for a moment - please forgive me. How much time do you spend surfing the net? How about watching that favorite television show? Hanging out with friends? Credit repair doesn't have to take hours a day - but it will happen faster the more time you spend on it. The longest part is reading and learning your rights and the laws.

The only way to get a grip on your credit is to take the time to get a grip on it.

In the last month since being unemployed i spent less money than i ever have. i hope to make it a habit. the details of a purchase are put into my check register and at the end of each week i have been analyzing my spending via general ledger. i havent even used a credit card AND I WAS UNEMPLOYED. I took the time to "get a grip" and you can to. If you want it bad enough, make the time.
