Can I Still Dispute as "not mine"?

To make a long story short, I've got a telephone bill on my CR as a paid collection. About 1 1/2 year ago (didn't know anything about credit repair) I agreed to pay the collection agency and sent in a payment. I then got pissed-off at the collection agents attitude, sent the balance to the phone company, and disputed with the CRA's saying that collection agency has no right to place account on my report because I paid the orginal creditor. This didn't work. The CRA's said that the dispute came back as verified. Can I now dispute as not mine? Or should I use another basis?

That's the only way to do it!
