I never applied for a Discover cardbut I was issued one through the mail. It shows up on my report as closed by consumer with a 0 CL and 0 balance. disputed but it came back verified. I never authorized an inq. What are my options, o CNet gurus? I know it's probably not hurting me but its the principal that just cheeses me off. Thanks! Poochie
Try calling them & described it might be ID theft,,if it doesnt work, Send them a letter demanding them to clear the C report or you wil sue. Normally that get their attention, the legal department will contact you & clean it up ASAP.
