can not pay 65K in credit card debt. so stopped paying. collections & arbitration has started but still can not pay & will not do BK..so what do I do just wait it out...no assets, am I judgement proof?
To my understanding only BK makes you judgment proof. As long as you live, they can obtain a judgment if your state laws permit. What state you are in?
might as well file bk, its a fresh start and you also have a better chance of rebuilding youre credit after its discharged,also get ready for a LOT of harrassing phone calls and threats from crediters,if you want to avoid that, move disconnect youre phone quit youre job, and enjoy youre next 7 years of bad luck.
Do you know if you state allows for garnishment of wages on a judgment? You might also have that to look forward to.
