I have a CA after me for a visa card. According to info on the card it is bases of Associates National Bank in Delaware, even though it's proccessing center is in Iowa. I live in NJ and have a NJ based CA after me for this card. According to them, last payment made on the card was 2001. As far as I know, the SOL is based on where the account is originally opened, which would be Delaware, meaning the SOL is 3 years for open and written accounts, and has since expired. However, if they sold the debt to a NJ based agency, they still have to obide by the original SOL, because in NJ it's 6 for both.
